It is a Musa genus of plant species includes bananas and plantains. It is mostly an outdoor plant and highly cultivated in farms for its fruits – Bananas and Musa. However, with enough light and water, a Musa plant looks a brilliant choice as a houseplant, as their leaves are big, green and engrossing. Leaves are connected with the stems with big, trunk-like petiole. Leaves often get cut from their edges when getting matured and big. Overall it looks beautiful as indoor floor plants and for outdoor garden use. The in-house Musa plants can grow up to 6ft / 2m high, it prefers the warm environment with medium to bright sunlight and a good amount of watering. All species of Musa are indigenous to the tropical region of Southeast Asia.
