Peace Lily

Spathiphyllum is an evergreen perennial flowering plant. It is one of the favorite houseplants and popularly know as Peace Lily as it offers majestic, long-lasting white blooms in spring. Its white flowers born from the leaf stalk covered by a cupped white spathe that gradually changes its color from pure white to a greenish or yellow color over time. The central spadix—floral spike—is either white or yellow. Its leaves are dark green, glossy and strongly veined and arching. It can grow up to a height of 3 ft (90 cm). Spathiphyllum is an easy to care houseplant and it can tolerate average indoor conditions. The plant requires watering it at least 2 to 3 times a week and needs low to medium light exposure. Also, the soil should be well-drained with enough moisture.
