Wandering Jew is a popular name given to a plant species Tradescantia Zebrina. It is also known as “Spiderwort” because of the shapes and patterns of leaves. It comes with Zebra patterned leaves. In the beginning, the upper layer of the leaves starts with purple in color in the central axis of the leave, which in later becomes green in full growth, with two broad silver/white strips running at the edges of the leaf. On the other hand, the lower layer of the leaves has a deep uniform Magenta color. To care for good growth Wandering Jew should have frequent watering with provided the soil should be well dried before watering. It should be under medium to bright sunlight locations. Soil should be well drained. This plant is native to Mexico, Central America, and Colombia, and cultivated in parts of Asia, Africa, Australia, South America, and various oceanic islands.
