Air plant (Tillandsia) is a genus of approximately 650 species of evergreen, perennial house and garden plant species in the family Bromeliaceae. It is native to northern Mexico and southeastern United States, Mesoamerica and the Caribbean to mid-Argentina. Tillandsia plants are well known as Air plants, especially because of their abilities to grow in different pot sizes and with minimal care. They grow best with at least a few hours of bright, indirect sun daily, and less watering (once or twice in a week.) Their leaves are Fuzzy with feathery, white, silver, and dusty coatings.
