Asiatic Jasmine (the botanical name “Trachelospermum asiaticum”) is a beautiful flowering plant species native to Korea and Japan. It is well used for ground covers in the garden and big landscape areas. It is an evergrowing plant with multi stem wine that can raise from 1 foot to 20 foot in height. It requires regular pruning to control its spread. Its leaves are evergreen, small and with the glossy and leathery appearance. Its flowers are of cream color and they produce a strong fragrance often used in the production of perfumes. This plant is well suited for outdoor garden areas, as it grows aggressively, which is not suitable for indoor use, also it is capable of surviving in all atmospheric conditions such as cold, drought, full sun, and full shade. It requires less watering, once in two weeks in summer and once in a month in winter
