Jade Plant (Crassula) is a large genus of succulent plants and it includes about 1480 plant species. These plants are native to most of the world. However many of the cultivated varieties are from South Africa. The various cultivars of Crassula species cover the complete size range from tiny ground foliage to big spreading trees. It requires adequate watering and soil should be well drained, mixed with succulent fertilizers. Overwatering can cause root decay issues. It should be placed under a brighter light.
